‘True Electric’ London – venue change

Röyksopp have announced there will be a change of venue for their London, UK date of their ‘True Electric’ tour on 19th February 2023, switching from Brixton Academy to Troxy, East London. The change comes due to the unfortunate events at Brixton Academy that happened in December last year, meaning the venue will be temporarily closed.

In order for a London show to go ahead, Röyksopp were forced to move to a smaller capacity venue, meaning unfortunately Brixton Academy tickets will not be valid for the new Troxy show.

Fans with tickets for Brixton Academy will be refunded – please refer to the terms & conditions of the provider you ordered with for exact information on this. Ticket holders will also be given priority access to the new tickets for the Troxy on a first-come, first-serve basis.Ticket holders for the Brixton show should check their inboxes today for an email from the ticket provider whom you purchased your ticket from. This will have full details on the full refund process along with information on how to access the priority presale to tickets for the show at Troxy.

On the venue change, Svein and Torbjorn commented:“We are devastated to have to change the venue, but it is out of our hands and the most important thing is to keep everyone safe. We didn’t want to cancel the show completely, so we’ll see you all at the Troxy very soon!”
